The Finance Officer plays a crucial role in managing the financial health of an organization. This position requires a keen understanding of financial principles and practices, as well as the ability to analyze financial data effectively. The Finance Officer is responsible for ensuring that financial transactions are recorded accurately and that financial reports are prepared in a timely manner. This role is essential for supporting the organization's strategic goals and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights for strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships effectively.
- Provide financial guidance and support to other departments as needed.
- Implement and maintain financial controls to safeguard company assets.
- Stay updated on financial regulations and best practices to ensure the organization remains compliant.
- End of service calculations.
Preferred Candidate:
- Male candidates preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Must possess a transferrable visa for employment in Kuwait.
- Basic knowledge of accounting software, such as Odoo or other related software.
- Familiarity with labor laws and regulations in Kuwait.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong ethical standards and integrity in financial practices.
- Ability to maintain productivity and communication in a remote work environment.
