We have an opportunity for Warehouse Supervisors to supervise our warehouse operations.
Job Purpose: The main responsibility is to support the efficient and effective operations of the warehouse., overseeing various aspects of warehouse management, including inventory control, personnel supervision, safety compliance, and process optimization.
Principal Accountabilities
Effective Supervision & Leadership: Lead and supervise warehouse staff to ensure the team adheres to the set SOP’s, company policies in day-to-day functioning resulting in seamless operations. Provide guidance and direction to ensure tasks are performed efficiently and according to established procedures
Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability. Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to plan inventory replenishment and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
Safety Compliance: Assist in maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment to Ensure adherence to safety protocols, conduct regular safety inspections, and address any potential hazards promptly.
Operational Excellence: Ensure that all operations are carried out as per SET SOP’s including offloading, loading and storing.
Equipment Maintenance: Collaborate with maintenance personnel to ensure warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and conveyor systems, are properly maintained and in good working condition to avoid any incidents.
Generate reports: Assist in analyzing warehouse data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Generate reports and provide insights to aid decision-making.
Fleet Management: Manage all aspects of the fleet, including vehicle acquisition, maintenance, repairs, and disposal. Ensure that vehicles are in good working condition and comply with safety regulations.
Effective Coordination: Maintain effective communication with the Warehouse Manager, other department managers, and warehouse staff. Relay important information, updates, and concerns as needed.
Quality Control: Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure the accuracy of shipments and inventory. Address and resolve any issues related to product quality or damage.
