On behalf of our client, who is a leading manufacturer in the Arabic sweets industry, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cost Controller to join our dynamic team and help manage our manufacturing costs effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, identifying variances and trends.
- Prepare detailed cost reports and forecasts for management.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Conduct regular cost audits and implement cost control measures.
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve cost efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cost Controller or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
