Purpose:
To manage STP/WWTP project activities to ensure completion of the project within budget and time schedules according to required specifications.
Job Description:
- Construction, Completion, Operation, Control and Maintenance of water pumping station projects, including civil, mechanical, electrical, and relevant control and measurement devices related to water pumping stations.
- Execution of projects (water pumping stations, underground tanks and related buildings), including reinforced concrete structures, previously stressed underground tanks for water storage, water reservation facilities, and major earthworks.
- Project management, implementation of supply, installations, testing and trial operation activities for main pumping stations, including monitoring and coordinating all contract and subcontract activities related to buildings, civil works, stations, and related services.
- Design, construction, procurement, installation, testing, and operation of a chlorine dioxide disinfection plant.
- Main electricity substation projects - Civil works related to high-voltage 132KV underground cables.
- Pre and post contract professional consultancy.
- Detailed Planning and Scheduling of the work in progress, quality assurance through different routine tests.
- Deciding on proper engineering techniques and milestone sequences for each project stage.
- Set targets for activities based on each phase of a project plan and ensure it meets the client's specifications.
- Monitor day-to-day work progresses for a project and provides accurate weekly and monthly reports by communicating potential progress, delays or project slippages.
- Analyze expenses and identify opportunities to save costs.
- Ensure complex projects are handled on time and on budget by overseeing the project planning, inventory services, cost control, team leadership, and project management.
- Ensure all HSE and QA/QC policy and procedures are implemented within the project.
- Follow up and coordinate to get the project clearance from the government authorities.
- Provide guidance and support to project team members and evaluate their performance.
