- Middleware /Application server Administrator, one will be supporting the IT based Java and Oracle forms and reports based solutions comprised of both proprietary and open source components.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for application server management, including developing and maintaining middleware and services e.g. troubleshooting, script automation, performance tuning middleware components in a primary Unix/Linux environment.
- Must have Good Experience with Oracle Weblogic and Tomcat application Servers.
- Personnel will also be an SME for Projects and Initiatives in the Middleware space. Also WebSphere environments knowledge is desired.
- Hands on experience on basic Unix/Linux administration and Scripting Skills
- Sound Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Installation, configuration and tuning of fusion middleware such as WebLogic TOMCAT WebSphere environments or other any other middleware servers.
- High availability design, configuration, and maintenance, including clustering and load balancing for fusion middleware.
- Configuration of LDAP / SSO and other essential specifics for fusion middleware
- Should frequently exercise performance tuning techniques, develop standards and tuning metrics and alert thresholds.
- Demonstrated ability to respond to critical system failures.
- Develop and implement Security strategies within technology space to ensure a secure middleware environment.
