Job Description & Responsibilities
Responsible for operating & maintaining existing Integrated Management System (IMS), writing procedures and processes to support the IMS development. Shall co-ordinate with all functions in AIP & APP facilities. Lead and undertake internal audits across all areas of the business. Co-ordinate with external agencies for periodical surveillance audits for continuation of certification. Provide training to plant crew on quality management system. Plan and process necessary updates in IMS system as and when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee effective implementation of the Integrated Management System throughout the company, including any business accreditations
· Maintain all Quality Manuals and Quality Procedures and ensure that the contents are appropriate for business and the procedures are updated as required.
· Organize and manage the plant internal audit system and the corrective action reporting system
· Conduct Quality Systems audits and assist in training / guidance to other auditors
· Organize & host external Quality System audits
· Provide training on Quality systems to plant personnel to increase awareness
· Support other functional areas of the business in maintaining quality systems
· Collate quality data for monitoring targets
· Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in order to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process or system
· Contribute to continuous improvement activities
· Support process improvement department activities
· Prepare and present reports on quality system performance
· Achieve goals within budget
· Undertake continuous training and development
· Liaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers and other service providers
· Comply with the Health, Safety and Environmental Policies
Qualifications and Experience Levels:
· Engineering degree with 5 -8 years’ experience in industrial set up
· Experience of working in Quality Assurance managing various quality management systems covering manufacturing, health and safety.
· Membership of an industry related Professional Body would be advantageous
