- Implements and executes necessary policies, procedures, work instructions and training related to Global Environmental Health and Safety Management System (GEHSMS).
- Facilitates the execution, implementation, and tracking of the site’s annual EHS Plan
- Carry out Accident and Incident investigation process, including supporting root cause analysis and identification of corrective action plans.
- Effectively managing the EHS culture transformation & risk transformation plans.
- Collect data and track monthly performance of Environmental Compliance, Sustainability and H&S Key Performance Indicators.
- Support the maintenance of ISO14001 management system.
- Facilitate external audits and governmental inspections, follow up actions through to completion including sharing results, key findings etc.
- Adhere to all environmental, health and safety Requirements on site (Including governmental requirements).
- Maintain security guard / watchman at the gates and verify credentials of persons seeking entry.
- Make periodic inspections / tours in plant and offices. Notify nearest manager or supervisor in case of emergency.
- Conduct/Support the completion of EHS Risk Assessments to identify key EHS risks and put actions in place to control those risks.
- Actively interacts with all employees to promote safe behaviors.
