System, Vendor and Business Management
- First line of responsibility for the bank’s Retail Core/Branch Banking solutions
- To manage the BAU work during branch working hours
Ø Support business to understand and prioritize their requirements, explore, and explain alternative options and translate them into technical specifications
Ø Production System Support – Bug fixing, level 3 Satellite system support.
Ø Obtain updates/changes and arrange for implementation.
Ø Provide work schedule with time lines
- Obtain requirements from Business groups.
- Analyze business requirements in the CR and coordinate with vendors for development and delivery
- Test and evaluate patches received from vendors before submitting for UAT
- Conduct Pretest with users - Demonstration to the users on new and upgraded software / patches received from vendors.
- Support during UAT
Generic Accountabilities:
- Diagnosis & Investigation of issues or changes
- Ability to design a solution based on agreed IT architecture
- Ability to understand Business requirement document and recommend changes and system enhancement
- Work fully within risk policies & procedures and all compliance regulations
- Work as per the IT policies and procedures following the change management etc.
- Manage the technical team/vendor and their development goals
