Alforda Central Fruits & Vegetables market was built as a state of the art facility with the goal of providing an economic food hub for importers, traders, vendors and customers alike. Under a 19-year BOT structure with the Government of Kuwait, Alforda has implemented modern logistics, operational systems and international management practices to better serve their customers. Alforda currently boasts 31 loading docks with the capability of servicing 1,000 trucks and handling 4,320 pallets daily. Also, Alforda possesses a warehousing space of 17,000 square meters with different suitable temperatures including chilled and dry space. Alforda runs its operations in a spacious 300,000 square meters plot in Sulaibiya. The area holds 577 stalls, 67 administrative offices, and a money exchange office. The market also includes many additional services for its customers such as an OnCost store, 18 restaurants, and 3 bank branches.
