Job Purpose / Responsibilities
Reporting to Manager Parts Department / Local Purchase Officer and responsible for sourcing and procuring the Parts & Consumables etc. for the company.
Local Purchaser Job Description:
- Identify the Parts required in the Local Market
- Conduct self-guided research to become familiar with what products are available as well as their costs and benefits
- Verify Purchase Requisition, clarifying unclear items with the requester and recommend alternatives
- Search available products to find the best combination of quality, price, and delivery
- Obtaining Purchased Items by forwarding Orders to the Suppliers; monitoring and expediting orders
