Duties & Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Ensure implementation of training and development strategy of the organization for required development.
- Develop and monitor the company's training budget to ensure that the best quality of training and development is provided within the established budget.
- Undertake regular assessment of training needs; maintain close communication with managers and staff to discuss training needs, develop a program to meet the identified needs.
- Prepare training plans – general, short term, long term based on training need analysis and ensure its implementation.
- Ensures that the Personnel Policies Manual, as well as other manuals, is kept current. Analyzes the effectiveness of personnel policies and practices. Recommends suitable revisions to management based on results of analysis.
- Ensure that employees are aware of personnel policies and employee benefit programs on a continuing basis.
- Coordinates an annual maintenance review of job descriptions, ensuring that each employee has a current job description.
- Responsible for the effective operation of the employee evaluation program to ensure that the proper performance and utilization of the employee's skills are made. Ensures that supervisors conduct meaningful employee evaluations in accordance with the company policy.
- Ensures that new employees receive proper orientation. Works with various supervisors on monitoring and continually upgrading on-the-job training, as needed.
- Counsels management and employees on grievances and complaints. Takes appropriate steps to see that they are resolved or channeled to management, if necessary.
- Advises management on various labor law compliance issues and other government statutes and programs affecting personnel administration or the health and safety of employees.
- Recruitment of Key Blue & white Collared positions.
