- Oversee and supervise employees and all activities of the purchasing department
- Develop and maintain a supplier contract database.
- Follow up on the payments as an intermediate between finance team and vendors
- Support all departments in the procurement process and provide guidance on best practices
- Follow up and ensure that the supplier is shipping the required items specifications and sending the correct shipping documents
- Update the purchasing records and preparing a daily follow up report of the orders status.
- Follow and enforce the company's procurement policies and procedures.
- Review, compare, analyze, and approve products and services to be purchased.
- Maintain and update supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
- Maintain good supplier relations and negotiates contracts.
- Research and evaluating prospective suppliers
- Prepare budgets, cost analyses, and reports.
- Reviews contracts/Service agreements drafts and recommends changes prior to submitting contract to subcontractors/clients.
