- Review and maintain policies, procedure and practices of warehousing.
- Ensure the team is trained in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and ensure through understanding of agreed outcomes.
- Prepares and monitors budgets according to plan and ensures maximum utilization of resources.
- Plan and organize daily/ weekly and monthly warehousing activities.
- Ensure that the warehouse is comply with all health, safety and environment standard.
- Identify, eliminate and minimize hazards and control risks.
- Conduct regular audit on health, safety, environment, inventory and showrooms in different locations.
- Manage the warehouse’s security to ensure safety of the Products as well as loss prevention.
- Ensure the warehouse area is clean and tidy; monitor the debris disposable on designated area.
- Oversee the administration and maintenance like cleaning, repair, maintenance of equipment, safety inspections, installation and repair service.
- Handle store maintenance by Storage management, preservation, space management, security, labelling.
- Establish documentation, retrieval & reporting process, and ensure adherence.
- Document and account all material movement in/out of stores, in order to keep track of the number of available products.
- Ensure that the temperature in the warehouse is set to a prescribed temperature that is suitable for the Products stored in order to avoid and Products damage.
- Maintain proper level of stock/ inventory by devising appropriate reorder lead times and amounts to assure adequate quantities are available for different business units; Ensure that physical count of products reconciles with the system stock.
- Manage movement of goods/ material, timely receipt and ensure adherence.
- Ensure all inventory transactions are properly documented in accordance with standard operating procedure.
