- Provide a warm, friendly and Professional service at all times to all our guests
- Demonstrate Knowledge and interest of all Food & Beverage items
- Be pro active in your approach to the job and work within the specific standard and procedures
- Attend to all guest request in a prompt and timely manner
- Attend all Fostered shifts Including shift work Weekend work accordance with duty schedules
- Clean and maintain equipment within the restaurant
- Maintain hygienic standards and procedures
- Responsible of the preparation of restaurants before or after shifts
- Liaise with fellow colleagues to improve productivity and efficiency
- Perform any other additional duties as instructed by management
- Report operational issues as and when it happens to a manager
- Meet grooming standards as per restaurant Policy
- Show initiative in handling guest complaints, informing immediate supervisor of the problem
- preparation of an outlet for service including:
o Cleaning of equipment
o Sorting of stores equipment
o Cleaning and maintaining glassware for service
o Cleaning and maintain flatware for service
o Cleaning and maintain china for service
o Preparing waiter stations
o Preparing service equipment and materials
o table preparation
Establishes and maintains effective employee working relationships
- Attends and participates in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled
- Attends and participates in training sessions as scheduled
Occupational Health and Safety Responsibilities
- Demonstrate Awareness of the policies and procedures and ensure all procedures are conducted safely and within the guidelines
- Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures
- Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly
- Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers
- Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements
