Responsible for Theater Architecture, Management, and execution of all host based Information Assurance and Computer Network Defense Controls, as part of the DISA lead SCRI (Secure Configuration Remediation Initiative), and JTF-GNO or ACERT guidance. Successful execution will include management of (HIPS) Host Intrusion Prevention Systems (HIPS) via HBSS, McAfee Anti-Virus (AV), Rouge Asset (RA) detection, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP). Implement and configure software and appliance-based products within the Architecture. Work within AOR to develop and implement effective network, product, and application solutions.
Evaluate, design, advise, implement, and integrate products and controls into various platforms, network devices, and systems. Perform knowledge transfers and training clients regarding security awareness.
Conduct network security assessments. Maintain security monitoring and reporting appliances; leading and analyzing security reporting. Maintain knowledge of and communicating changes in security regulations, best practices, countermeasures, compliance, and threats. Prepare technical designs as well as high-level flowcharts and schematics. Troubleshoot and resolving network issues.
