POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for overall coordination of the installation and set-up of a Pavement Management System. This involves close coordination with the Pavement Engineer, Pavement Technical Support Engineer, Client Pavement Engineers, client users and stakeholders to determine which features to enable in the Pavement Management system and the best technical approach to take. Identification of pavement maintenance project, manage the budgeting process (1, 5 and 10 year plans) and monitoring of the maintenance activities (undertaken by others) demonstrating the improvement in network quality. Also, provide technical assistance and training on Pavement Management System to users as needed. Creation of a pavement data collection plan and implementation. Review of the client based pavement testing equipment, manage the repair and calibration in addition to the deployment of this equipment and training of the client in the use of this equipment. Manage the integration of the PMS into a ESRI and work ordering environments.
