As such, we are looking for a Dental Hygienist to join the team and provide exceptional healthcare across the region.
As a Dental Hygienist within the Dental Department your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Exposing, developing and mounting dental radiographs such as peri-apical, bitewings, panoramic and cephalometric radiographs.
- Performing clinical examinations of oral structures and health, and dental charting.
- Removing calculus and plaque (hard and soft deposits) from all surfaces of the teeth.
- Administering local anesthesia by infiltration when needed during plaque removal.
- Educating patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health such as tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling.
- Taking impressions of patients’ teeth and surrounding structures for study models and bleaching trays.
