- Plan, prioritise, assign, supervise, review, and participate in the work of staff responsible for facility maintenance.
- Establish schedules and methods for providing facility maintenance services, identify resource needs, review needs with appropriate management staff and allocate resources accordingly.
- Monitor and control supplies and equipment; order supplies and tools as necessary, prepare documents for equipment procurement, prepare specifications and contracts for contract services.
- Oversee the maintenance of facilities, and ensure that cautionary signs are used during on-going maintenance activities and assign priority levels to service requests.
- Oversee external contractors while they are working on business units’ premises.
- Follow-up on the payment proceeds with the Vendors / Contractors, and update Facility Maintenance Manager regularly about the progress and issues, if any.
- Assist the Facility Maintenance Manager in developing maintenance and contingency plans, and recommend department and personnel changes.
- Inspect facilities to ensure proper repair, facility improvement, and preventive maintenance are in compliance with the requirements of policies and standards.
- Maintain a record of all complaints received from staff or concerned department regarding building and facilities maintenance.
- Carry out the reallocation of facility maintenance staff across business units as well as plan, organize and monitor staff schedules, work shifts, days-off, absence and leave to ensure continuity of operations in coordination with Business Units.
