Job Summary:
The Senior Service Engineer is responsible for attending the maintenance requests, ensuring that they are being handled on a timely and efficient manner.
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to :
- Overseeing the process of organizing the maintenance requests.
- Constantly looking for ways to cut costs and improve department profit.
- Being innovative in trying to get opportunities through reference collected from the industry and communicating with Sales Team accordingly.
- Controlling and supervising the routine scheduled maintenance works and responding to equipment faults.
- Leading a team of Engineers and Technicians and motivating them for better performance.
- Attending major technical problems at site to provide solution.
- Ensuring required spare parts and inventories are timely available.
- Planning for the Annual Maintenance schedule.
- Supporting Service Managers in planning shifts and working hours.
- Preparing Billing for the completion of works or advance as per the terms and conditions of the contract/work done.
- Having the competence in Electromechanical Maintenance including firefighting, fire alarm, plumbing and electrical replacement works.
- Preparing statistics and managerial reports as required.
- Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs.
- Participating in staff selection, coaching, and training.
- Participating with Service Manager in KPIs setting.
- Participating in performance evaluation.
- Being always aware of contractual terms for the projects at hand.
- Being always aware of industry and trade updates.
- Constantly following the governmental rules and regulations, reflecting a professional image of AI- Engineering Group.
