Responsible for supervising the soft service staff and the performance of cleaning elements within the contract.
To effectively supervise and develop the services demonstrating continuous improvement and added value.
Maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Supervise daily operations of Soft service staff and sub-contracted labor in their duties following distribution of all jobs for Planned and Reactive works.
Maintain good communication; conduct daily team meetings and grooming inspections with reporting staff at the start of the shift.
Complete a ‘Hand-over’ process at the beginning and end of your shift. Complete a daily log of tasks/issues with updates.
Organize out-of-hours emergency work, as required. To immediately report any potential dangerous situations to your Line Manager.
Deal with emergency situations in a professional manner informing Line Manager immediately.
To manage and participate in the provision of services covering a 24 hour/7 day operation.
Conduct routine cleaning inspections (audits), raising any issues with the Cleaning Coordinator.
Responsible for generating, updating/keeping management information/records/reports, as required e.g. cleaners/operational reports/logs/cleaning contacts/job record cards/work sheets etc.
Get involved in Project Work, Additional Works, as required.
Maintain an efficient Accident Reporting process, keeping all records up to date and filed accordingly.
Support the Line Manager in providing management information and reports with regard to the delivery of cleaning services.
Supervise and co-coordinator stock control and material inventories, maintaining systems & processes.
Manage staff leave and absence in accordance with agreed Capability Procedure, dealing with any disciplinary matters in accordance with the Company’s Disciplinary Procedure.
