Job Purpose:
Assist in maintaining network & connectivity to deliver efficient and timely solutions.
Key accountabilities:
GENERIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. People management Supervise employees and the team in line with people policies & practices. Communicate operational procedures
ACCOUNTABILITIES
2. Availability Deliver continuous service availability through availability management and problem resolution
3. Installations Install network management systems to ensure optimal operations
4. Maintenance Maintain & support user hardware / software relating to connectivity
5. Problem resolution Identify network problems and report them to the management
6. User support Respond to user issues and provide solutions
7. Back-up Assist in performing backups of related applications and data
8. Suppliers follow up with suppliers and ensure they deliver good service and value for money
9. Security Ensure database security through identifying and resolving security issues
10. Policies Enforce policies relating to security, backup, housekeeping, restoration and database changes
