• Developing a solid understanding of customers’ (retailers) POS environment & systems
• Organizing and running workshops to elicit customers’ mobile marketing requirements
• Designing solutions that use the Beam platform and meet or exceed customers’ needs
• Documenting the agreed solutions using UML and collaborating with project manager
• Managing the customers and their expectations
• Writing test cases and testing the components delivered by the development team
• Demonstrating completed components to customers and providing training
• Formally handing over deployed components to the support team
• Providing assistance to the support team to identify and diagnose issues
The ideal candidate will have experience of the following:
• Extensive experience in the retail industry
• Proven knowledge of transaction processing using POS systems
• Worked on at least one POS integration project
• Experience working with systems that integrate with payment gateways
• Good understanding of domain modelling
• Worked in an Agile environment
• Experience with conflict management and resolution
