Quest Search & Selection is working with a leading technology company seeking a Head of Engineering to join their Kuwait team. We ideally are looking for candidates with experience in working with start-up projects and leading engineering teams in developing tech strategies that will drive business growth and efficiencies.
As the Head of Engineering, you will:
- Build, produce, and manage architecture / roadmaps for technology solutions
- Manage end-to-end product development and IT infrastructures
- Collaborate with key internal managers and stakeholders in defining product roadmaps
- Manage and lead technology team
- Manage multiple projects and ensure all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards
- Keep abreast of technology trends and developments
Requirements for an ideal candidate:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or similar
- At least 8 years relevant experience in the same capacity
- Demonstrated history of working on several different projects
- Strong knowledge in DevOps, App development, Security, Cloud, and agile technologies among others
- Excellent communication skills
- Extensive industry knowledge
- Strong project and people management skills
