On behalf of our client, we are currnetly recruiting for the below mentioned position:
Job Title: Head of Card Operations
Reports to: Head of Banking Operations
Location: Kuwait
Sector: Banking
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee Account Settlement, Chargebacks and Cards Maintenance teams and accurately ensure that services offered to the key stakeholders are within the agreed SLA and internal controls and guidelines. Responsible for the overall activities of the card operations function. Designing and implement card operational policies and procedures.
- Manage cards maintenance including but not limited to issuance, cancellations, limits and upgrades within the agreed SLA and guidelines.
- Effectively track, follow up and resolve delays in SLAs and ensure optimum level of cards services.
- Ensure accurate settlement of funds, chargebacks and reconciliations.
- Confirm and review financial adjustments posted on Card Management System
- Ensure vendor payments verification and ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Review teams' generated reports for Central Bank in a timely manner and ensure meeting the specified standards and deadlines.
- Review reconciliation of general ledgers in a timely manner and resolve or escalate any variances to balance all ledgers.
- Ensure that Chargeback claims are processed within TAT and customers are credited on time.
- Foster culture of team work and ensure that the responsibilities are fairly distributed.
- Review the policies and procedures to ensure adherence and they're up-to-date.
- Participate in new projects and allocate of resources for the project
- Perform a variety of tasks within the general scope of the job that may be assigned by the management
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferably with Accounting discipline
- 10 - 12 years of related experience preferably in Banking
