Objective of the Group
The objective of Retail Banking Group is to increase the market penetration by providing improved products, services and increased access, by offering value added services to customers and offering them a large range of retail banking products and services. Primary Job Purpose:
The Assistant Manager- Segment assists in developing marketing strategies and marketing plans to support the segment value proposition
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
Planning and Management
- Develop and maintain segment business plan, monitor and report segment performance and status according to standard reporting procedure.
Fieldwork
- Assist in developing customer value proposition and promotional campaigns and track performance of each
- Assist in brand building activities for segments in charge
Assist in developing marketing strategies on products and services related to the segment - Develop and maintain different marketing procedures for the products and services of the segment and ensures the effective launch of the new products, services and due plans in the segments.
Reporting
- Generate and escalate periodic and requested reports ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Internal Interactions
- Participate in the various cross-functional committees/teams for multiple purposes to achieve optimal cooperation and to assume seamless quality service
- Participate in the selection and development of staff
Evaluate performance and recommend developmental needs of the team - Review recommendations of subordinate staff and provide guidance in resolving complex or sensitive problems
- Maintain and promote positive work culture and responsible for improving employee engagement level of the team.
- Demonstrates resilience and tenacity, ensuring that positive results are consistently achieved in own and team's area of work
- Guides and communicates effectively with team to exceed standards when delivering through others
- Proactively suggests or adopts ways to perform tasks in a more efficient and effective manner
