- Contribute to the formulation and implementation of the PMO strategy and plans in order to ensure alliance with the company’s business line needs and objectives.
- Identify and create a master plan for all company strategic projects to align VIVA’ technical and commercial projects with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
- Ensure timely delivery and application of standard project management methodologies, to ascertain a professional, best-practices-based and consistent approach is taken in implementing projects across the company.
- Monitor day to day project status and updates for the PMO assigned projects to ensure adherence to the agreed upon project scope and approach.
- Liaise with VIVA sectors and departments to effectively respond to PMO requests and any internal queries in order to ensure smooth processing of all project management transactions.
- Ensure there are sufficient numbers of project managers and other resources available for running and managing projects to satisfy delivery requirements to the business.
- Provide guidance to project managers and team members during the life cycle of the project to ensure complete compliance with adopted technologies, standards and best practices.
- Consolidate reports – templates to track schedules, costing and scope provided by PMO for each of the projects in the company.
- Ensure all deliverables and outcomes are in line with agreed-upon objectives.
- Perform other tasks and duties assigned by upper management.
