Job Purpose
Responsible for coordinating all fit out works of all BMC projects and helping the Interior fit-out Engineer in various duties and assignments such as reviewing of labour forecast, mobilization plans and project initiation, in line with the set specifications.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Policies & Procedures
₋ Implement the Fit-Out Department’s policies and procedures and comply with BMC’s other policies.
Fit Out Coordinator Activities
₋ Assist the Interior Fit Out Engineer in daily activity and requirements in terms of correspondence, drafting, BOQ, etc.
₋ Prepare conceptual designs for BMC projects as per requirements and customer specifications.
₋ Log and monitor issues and follow up on all RFIs from beginning of BMC project to completion.
₋ Prepare the work schedule in coordination with the Interior Fit-Out Engineer and ensure close follow up is maintained to achieve completion of project as per schedule.
₋ Follow up and receive approvals from all concerned authorities to commence works on BMC projects with the assistance of the Interior Fit out Engineer.
₋ Prepare weekly progress reports for BMC clients, in order to keep clients abreast on all phases of the project.
₋ Coordinate with all parties to ensure the perfect workflow during all phases of shop drawing, execution, installation and submittal.
₋ Liaise and coordinate with customers, external consultants, for project management to ensure quality project delivery.
₋ Issue, in consultation with the Interior Fit-Out Engineer, any Non-conformity reports as necessary and monitor timely close out.
₋ Assist to finalize all additional works, progress, project delays and take necessary action to promptly resolve the same.
₋ Ensures project documents are updated, completed and stored appropriately
₋ Perform other duties as assigned by the Direct Manager.
Reports
₋ Prepare and submit reports on a regular basis to the Direct Manager that cover project activities such as progress, project delays etc.
