Role summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic Human Resources Professional to implement a variety of human resource programs. The HR department will depend on your assistance in a number of important functions such as staffing, compensation and benefits, training and development. Due to the diversity of responsibilities of the role, the ideal candidate will be a competent and resourceful individual with a passion for HR.
The goal is to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.
Accountabilities
- Implements human resources programs by providing human resources services, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation and benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, and labor relations; completing personnel transactions.
- Proposes human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action.
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Coordinates and administers training and development programs and liaising with external training bodies as required. This includes providing support in relation to Health and Safety training records for employees.
- Administration, co-ordination and support of recruitment.
- Develops an induction programs for new employees.
- Managing and maintaining contracts, personnel files and other employee information.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Complies with local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating legislation, and preparing needed actions.
