Role Responsibility
• Responsibility for supervising and executing and managing on site transport and jacking and skidding activities in conjunction with the heavy lift engineer including performing all, transport, and installation operations.
• Attend site visits to measure and record specific information and to ensure that this is correctly interpreted, and incorporated into the jacking and transport studies.
• Co-ordinate with internal departments to ensure activities are compliant with requirements.
• Liaise with the other JTC supervisors to ensure that the works may be carried out in accordance with the method statements and risk assessments.
• Attend site for the execution of the project collaborating and supporting the rigging and transport crew in the completion of the project by being the point of contact with the client on site with regards to coordination, and site execution.
• Provide technical support to the drivers and riggers and respond to issues on site in a professional and timely manner.
• In long term complex projects, work under the Project Manager being responsible of all aspects of the execution of transport and jacking operations including modular trailers, SPMT, jacking and skidding equipment.
