Job Description:
- Welcoming parents/guardians in our reception in a professional manner.
- Performs a wide variety of administrative, secretarial and clerical duties for a nursery.
- Coordinates and participates in office support functions in support of the nursery‘s goals and objectives.
Major Responsibilities:
Secretarial:
- Meets and greets parents/guardians.
- Answer telephones and handle in appropriate manner.
- Collecting the main data of parents/guardians at the reception.
- Performs general clerical duties: photocopying, mailing, etc.
- Prepare electronic folders for the parents/guardians in our database (Data Entry).
- Advise parents/guardians in which the next step is and to lead him to speak to the appropriate staff member for their enquiry.
- Reads and screens incoming reports; makes preliminary assessment of the importance of materials and organizes documents, and forwards materials to the concerned staff.
- Assists in a variety of nursery operations; perform special projects and assignments as requested.
- Maintains records for attendance.
- Prepares agenda and collects materials for meetings, and conferences; takes minutes and keeps records of proceedings.
- Reviews reports, files and other documents for the purpose of ensuring accuracy, completeness and conformance to standard procedures.
- Conducts searches to find needed information, using such sources as the Internet.
