Job purpose
Product Photographers play a key role in marketing products to our consumers. They provide high quality images to a wide variety of different products. Many skills involved in taking good photos remain the same even with digital photography dominating the market. With the rise of online sales, product photography has become more important than ever before.
Duties and responsibilities
• Obtain the product and any necessary ancillary elements (such as mannequins or backdrops) for the photo
• Depending on the products being photographed, it is the photographer’s responsibility to choose the correct environment (outdoor vs indoor)
• Setting up style, light, and photograph all images of products as requested
• Deliver products in a timely manner, adhering to deadlines and requests
• Creating excellent photos that are of high commercial quality
• Perform post production photo retouching and editing-clean and edit products using Photoshop
