- Online business channel.
- Establish strong collaborative working relationships with internal business partners including IT & Web Team, Buying & Planning, Retail Store Operations, Logistics & Inventory, Marketing, Finance and Human Resources
- Own and develop the P&L for the E-commerce business
- Establish successful cross-functional relationships to achieve goals while working collaboratively with all stakeholders
- Ownership/maintenance of integrated plan, providing structure to ecommerce processes
- Drive process improvement projects, including current state assessment, improvement opportunity identification and solution definition in a team-based environment
- Lead the online merchandising to ensure the assortments are competitive, efficient and maximize the sales potential for the total business
- Analyse the competition to ensure that we have a winning assortment and look for opportunities where we can grow the business profitably
- Analyse data to understand your target customer so that you can select products and merchandise them in a way to inspire purchase
- Create effective promotional calendars in-line with the offline business that drive sales and achieve budgeted profit targets
- Manage Inventory levels to maximize in-stock and customer satisfaction while minimizing the amount of inventory
- Creation of AOP (Annual Operating Plan)
- Identify, manage and “unblock” cross-functional and cross-initiative issues and work together as one team to enhance processes.
- Budgeting for Technology, Marketing and other expense heads
- Digital / Online / Content Marketing
- Ability to co-ordinate and work together with Marketing team with understanding of Online marketing initiatives and activities with tight coupling with the offline communications / marketing initiatives to exploit the possible synergies and create a rub off on online sales and branding.
- Integrate the best practices of content into the business
- Vendor Management, Selection and Negotiations
- Work closely with Outsourcing Technology team and understand requirement considering business objective.
- Pilot Project to test Technical capabilities
- Negotiations to reduce Capital and Operational Expenditure for the company
- Work closely with internal stakeholder to finalize the agreements
- Business Process creation, Business Operations
- Mapping the existing offline process to online process to have unified customer experience.
- Introducing business process exclusive to Online business
- Setting up the Operational plan and Operation process
- Team Building and Mentoring
- Right from creating Job profile to interview and at times hand pick the right resource for the job
- Regular interaction with the team to mentor and learn as well from their experience
Oversee team deployment and drive motivation levels of the direct reportees.
