Position Title: Human Resources Manager
Division: Head Office
Reports to: CEO
Liaises with:
- All Head Office Departments
- All Retail Channels
- All Business Units
Role Purpose:
- To ensure the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of human resources are applied and implemented effectively to achieve the organization’s goals and objectives.
- To plan, organize and control the activities and actions of the Human Resources Department.
- To support the Board of Directors and CEO to develop a strong corporate culture and become an employer of choice.
- To ensure the Company complies with all aspects of Kuwait’s Employment Law and other HR related legislation including Health & Safety.
Position Description:
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the implementation and development of the Company’s Compensation and Benefits Scheme.
- To advise the CEO and Board regarding appropriate market based Compensation & Benefits for employees
- To develop, analyze and update the company’s salary budget.
- Accountable for conducting annual salary surveys.
- To develop, analyze and update the company’s Organization Structure and recommend amendments or efficiency improvements in consultation with Operational Management based on business needs.
- To review, analyze and update the company’s evaluation program.
- Responsible for creating, reviewing and revising job descriptions.
- To create and develop formalized Human Resources Policies and Procedures.
- To develop and maintain a Staff Handbook of HR Policies and Procedures.
- Accountable for all benefits administration (with specific responsibility for activation of payroll) and Department Records and Reports.
- To organize the recruitment of new employees in line with the approved structure, operational needs and compensation guidelines.
- Responsible for on-boarding new employees and facilitating appropriate training and orientation as applicable.
- Accountable for the creation and implementation of appropriate employee development and training initiatives to support the growth of the company.
- To oversee exit interviews.
- Responsible for implementing disciplinary procedures relating to Company Policy and applicable Kuwait Employment Law (including Health & Safety).
- To represent the company at any legal tribunals relating to Human Resources activities.
