- Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies
- Maintain GL by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries
- Summarize financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements
- Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements
- Resolve general accounting questions/issues, work with Finance Manager & Accouns team to implement process improvements and new reporting requirements
- Prepare bank reconciliations assigned accounts reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Control Journal entry and documentation
- Support internal and external audits
- Prepare various reports and analysis (when needed)
- Lead and support Billings functions
- Support monthly close process
- Prepare monthly inventory and daily journal entries.
- Assists in the management of the standard cost system
- Conduct annual standard cost roll reflecting latest routings, economics and changes to overhead rates
- Prepare cost estimates of new or special products for establishing selling prices and production forecasts
- Analyze purchase price variances
- Review departmental spending vs. actual approved budget
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
- Recommend on cost system, processes, procedures and reporting improvement
- Partner with key internal customers (e.g. Operations, Sales…etc.) to ensure accurate and meaningful reporting and analysis
- Secure financial information by completing database backups
- Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by management
