Our Warehousing department is looking for a thorough and conscientious individual to be a new member of its quality control pool. This role will be responsible for systematic monitoring of activities and for providing recommendations on areas for improvement in order to support and promote the Warehousing operations' compliance with existing quality standards and specifications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quality Control
- Conduct daily facility visits and report any non-compliance or observation related to quality, safety, and environmental standards; provide corresponding suggestions for improvement
- Monitor inspection activities of inbound/outbound containers, particularly in frozen/chiller facilities, to ensure all the consignments are checked as per the inspection criteria
- Conduct random inspections on the inbound consignments as per the Inventory Supervisor's instruction
- Coordinate with concerned team members to address quality issues observed
- Inspect and ensure that all the non-conforming products are kept in the specific quarantine location
- Perform regular thermometer calibration
Documentation and Administration- Verify and ensure quality documents are updated and maintained in a precise manner as per the standard requirements
- Collect data from various facilities (related to HSE and Operations) and prepare for management review to serve as basis for part of departmental objectives for the coming year
- Prepare the warehouse handling damage reports
- Conduct daily follow ups with the operations teams to resolve the issues identified
- Any other related duties / projects assigned by the direct supervisor from time to time to meet the business exigencies
EDUCATION- High school or related Associate's Degree
WORK EXPERIENCE- Minimum 2 years' experience in quality assurance and quality inspection
SPECIFIC SKILLS
- English language(written and spoken)
- Computer skills(Excel, Word, Power point)
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Organization skills
