A Construction Quality Control Senior Engineer is required for a Private Property Development Company in Kuwait with:
- Very strong attention to detail and exceptional standards for quality.
- Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills is a must.
- Able to conduct preparatory, initial and follow-up inspections for each definable feature of work, in detail, efficiently, and in conjunction with Owner/QC.
- Must be able to ensure that materials incorporated into the construction work are in compliance with plans and specifications and that items requiring laboratory testing are tested, reported, and reviewed.
- Able to evaluate and resolve any discrepancies and problems arising during construction which affect the quality of works performed.
- Able to review shop drawings and prepare submittals for conformance with project specifications.
- Insure that shop drawings, samples, submittals, designs and as-built drawings are properly prepared, checked and submitted
- Assemble and forward project closeout documents that include O&M manuals, as-built drawings and warranties
- Able to take the necessary measurements and field checks required for processing payment applications.
- Able to investigate facts to assist in the evaluation and issuance of Variation Orders.
- Able to process, review and answer, and maintain RFI, ASI and submittals.
- The ideal candidate will be detail oriented with experience supervising quality control in a construction environment
