- Implement the staff development strategy.
- Conduct a Training Needs Assessment (TNA) on annual basis in collaboration with the Performance and Rewards Head.
- Manage the Induction Program for the new employees.
- Design the training curriculum and identify the list of courses (internally and externally) that would address the training needs of all departments and the overall company.
- Design and monitor an E-learning System.
- Prepare an annual training plan and budget, and assist the HR Director in reserving necessary funds for training.
- Develop and monitor the company's training budget to ensure that the best quality of training and development is provided within the established budget.
- Monitor implementation of the Training Plan, manage enrollments for all courses and perform necessary follow ups for staff to go on planned trainings.
- Coordinate and build relationship with MGRP regarding the training fund for Kuwaiti employees.
- Act as a resource person for requests to holding workshops by projects and departments providing needed coordinating and technical assistance.
- Maintaining updated training records, copies of workshops held, in addition to data base on individual training profiles in each staff file.
- Assist in developing and implementing a Training Impact Assessment package to measure the benefit of the overall staff development efforts by presenting indicators and measures for improvement in the overall company's performance.
- Establish and manage an updated inventory of available external and internal training resources whether Institutes or Consultants.
- Coordinate with training providers and agree on course contents and tools for evaluation.
- Negotiate with training providers the training contracts.
- Carry out performance, development and competency appraisals of immediate staff in accordance with prescribed policies and procedures and time scales.
- This covers the majority of responsibilities to be performed, but is not all inclusive. It doesn’t preclude other responsibilities from being assigned and undertaken.
