Job Summary/Purpose:
Monitor the Reconditioning Center in order to prepare and finalize the reconditioning of all the vehicles assigned from Certified Cars department, achieve allocated turn over and CSI targets and minimize the cost.


Responsibilities:
• Monitor the receipt and storage of vehicles classified to be sold as Certified Cars.
• Monitor the workshop flow in order to recondition the received vehicles with defined quality and time standards.
• Co-ordinate with Certified Cars for prospect vehicle list check and arrange for physical inspection of these vehicles.
• Validate the vehicle physical inspection document/s.
• Prepare repair cost estimation and procure the required cost approvals.
• Validate the Local Purchase Orders (LPO) raised for Reconditioning Centre for vehicle repairs.
• Monitor the daily parts requirement schedule and on time delivery from MNSS parts department in order to ensure minimum workshop idle time.
• Monitor the technical (mechanical, painting and denting) jobs in order to ensure that MNSS and TMC standards are met.
• Prepare the monthly workshop plan and ensure precise execution.
• Monitor the workshop tools and equipment usage and maintenance in the most efficient manner.
• Monitor the Reconditioning store and ensure continued availability of adequate stock of all consumables.
• Verify store requisitions for all technicians in line with their respective assigned job cards.
• Validate repairs from any external party assured of best price and quality.
• Co-ordinate with Certified Cars for reconditioned vehicles to be delivered to all Certified Cars Showrooms for Showroom Displays as per the requirement specified by showroom management.
• Attend to all customer queries and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assign goals and objectives to staff and monitor achievement of team objectives/key performance indicators (KPIs) and counsel employees on achievement of targets and KPIs.
• Check employee attendance and report absence and attendance exceptions, prepare annual leave plan for employees and overtime sheets on SAP HCM for management approval.
• Prepare performance planning (PP), conduct performance appraisal (PA) and PP/PA interviews including employee development plans and counsel employees on career progression opportunities.
• Make requisite attempts to handle all grievances raised by subordinates in a prompt and effective manner and escalate such matters to higher level when required.
• Recommend disciplinary action.
• Explain and advise staff on Group policy and quality standards and ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
