- Organize all store operations and allocate responsibilities to personnel
- Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance
- Prepare and control the store’s budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency
- Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget
- Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store’s reputation
- Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise
- Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays
- Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store
- Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts
- Ensure the store fulfills all legal health and safety guidelines
- Achieves marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews, preparing and completing action plans, implementing productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, resolving problems
- Investigate lost sales and customer accounts, track, collate and interpret sales figures, forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales revenue, generate timely sales reports, formulate sales policies and procedures, help prepare budgets, control expenses and monitor budgets, maintain inventory control, conduct market research and competitor and customer analysis, analyze data to identify sales opportunities
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
- Oversee the activities and performance of the sales team; monitor the achievement of sales objectives by the sales team
- Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the sales team to develop their skills to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales target and KPI target are met.
