Key Roles and Responsibilities
Policies & Processes
Implement related policies, and follow the set processes in order to achieve the Department’s objectives.
Cost Control Activities
- Identify and monitor cost, expenditure of healthcare service provided with effective usage of financial resources obtained in exchange for insurance premium in compliance with the healthcare insurance policy terms and conditions.
- Prepare cost and expenditure statements for expenses against the health insurance beneficiary covered amount and issue other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of operations.
- Prepare studies that calculate the costs of each cost element, which help to make decisions on insurance premium amount and determining the expected cost.
- Prepare reports comparing the estimated and the actual costs and identify the underlying causes of the existence of any noticeable differences.
- Apply the regulations and procedures that contribute to control costs, and work according to the plans approved.
- Work with the finance department to implement and apply cost accounting policies and procedures as they are derived.
- Perform other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.
Reports
- Prepare reports that cover all related activities for the Direct Manager, as requested.
