Job Purpose:
Ensure Body Shop runs as a high Profit center. Effective interactions with Insurance companies. Implementing new technologies related to Body shop to achieve higher productivity and in turn good profit margin.
Accountabilities
- Coordinate and support Senior Body Shop Manager towards effective body shop operation, performance and recommending improving opportunities.
- Effective utilization of body shop work bays towards achieving Higher Productivity & Efficiency.
- Monitoring vehicle flow & taking corrective actions to achieve higher vehicle turn around and shorter delivery lead time which should meet customer waiting time minimum.
- Continuous follow up on spare parts availability, follow up on VOR's.
- Liaising with Insurance companies towards quick approvals and Completing the job in shorter time frame to achieve Total Customer satisfaction.
- Monitoring workshop equipment's functional conditions and taking necessary corrective actions whenever maintenance need arise.
- Monitoring Team leader &Body Technicians skill level and Recommending for higher trainings.
- Liaising with customer towards estimations conversions.
- Ensure 5s activities are continuously implemented.
- Ensure Technicians & Team leaders project high level of work Discipline and quality of work delivered. Also ensuring Workshop looks clean & tidy always.
