Sales
- Having an excellent and up to date knowledge of all products
- Ensuring all areas of the showroom are kept clean and tidy
- Ensuring sales staff are following replenishment procedures
- Doing regular spot checks on pricing and signage
- Assisting customers with sales
- Monitoring sales staff’s daily and weekly checklists Doing regular and hands on training of the sales staff - Doing regular stock checks.
- Preparing sales staff schedules to ensure correct shop floor coverage
Customer Service
- Being constantly aware of customers and their needs
- Ensuring that all customers, irrespective of color, creed are treated equally.
- To liaise with the Customer Service Department on a daily basis with regards to deliveries, assemblies, exchanges, refunds etc.
General
- Following company and departmental benchmarks
- Following all reasonable instructions as requested by the management
- Being aware of all in-store promotions, such as activities etc.
- Keeping all company information, including sales figures, strictly confidential
- Ensuring he / she follows all company rules and regulations
- Following all company safety and security procedures
- Representing the company in the best way possible at all times, whether on or off duty
