The main role of the Senior Internal Auditor includes preparing and following through
the implementation and execution of the annual audit plan. You will also be required to
conduct independent, efficient, continuous, risk based audits, reviews, and investigations
across the organization. Job Tasks will be including but not limited to the below:
• Assist in planning and developing the annual internal audit plan for the organization.
• Develop detailed risk register(s) including the nature, impact and likelihood of risk occurrences
on the Entity / Department under review and the associated controls identified to mitigate those risks.
• Prepare audit programs and perform related testing procedures of the identified internal controls during the planning phase to the extent documented in the risk assessment.
Conclude on the internal controls efficiency and effectiveness.
• Analyze the organization’s financial statements and trends over time to uncover
financial irregularities and raise “red flags”, where appropriate.
• Provide recommendations of each audit, analysis, review or investigation performed and
discuss audit findings with the Auditees.
• Review compliance by various functions of the business, with established policies,
procedures and management instructions.
