With Gastronomica’s expansion into the GCC, we are now requiring an creative, driven and passionate Junior Graphic Designer to join our team in Kuwait. This is a great opportunity for you to grow and build your Graphic Design skills. As the Junior Graphic Designer you will be responsible for assisting and supporting in creating design solutions that have a high visual impact across all Gastronomica brands.
Responsibilities
- Assisting and supporting the development of new concept graphics for all new projects undertaken by the company;
- Assisting with formulating mood boards, sample lists and brochures required for the execution of designs;
- Supporting the senior graphic designer with developing, organizing, sourcing and structuring designs for various aspects of restaurant operations like Packing, Printing, Advertisement ECT;
- Constantly being in touch with all the latest trends in the industry and acquiring all necessary skills as the company keeps growing;
- Assisting with designing all restaurant related graphics and executing all details like staff uniform;
- Thinking creatively to assist in the production of new ideas and concepts;
- Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time;
- Working with a wide range of media, including photography and computer-aided design (CAD);
- Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work;
- Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief;
- Demonstrating illustrative skills and rough sketches;
- Working on final ideas and presentations as directed by the senior graphic designer;
- Working on layouts and art working pages ready for print;
- Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as QuarkXPress, FreeHand, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3ds Max, Acrobat, Director, Dreamweaver and Flash;
- Developing interactive design;
- Commissioning illustrators and photographers;
