The Product Specialist works under the guidance and supervision of the Manager – Medical & Projects to coordinate both functionally and technically. This role will be field based and you will be advertising to professionals within medical scientific division, and will part of a sales team within the section. The Product Specialist will involve in supporting Sales and Services Teams on more technical aspects of the company’s medical products and services as well as proactively generating new business within the assign area.
1. Assists in ensuring the efficient and in coordinating the cross-functional product development and maintenance activities.
2. Assists in the area of new business opportunities by providing feasibility studies, marketing surveys, industry data and direct client contact.
3. Assists manager in upward product sales and services, using current cost estimates, margin and commission guidelines provided by management along with market information.
4. Develop working relationships with sales teams and services field representatives/engineers.
5. Assist the sales and services teams during presentation and trials, conducting presales demos and in resolving customer satisfaction issues as appropriate.
6. Makes recommendations for sales promotion and sales strategies programs or proposal as requested and assigned by the direct supervisor and/or by the Manager – Medical & Projects.
7. Makes sales product services and to provide improvement recommendations to meet changing operational, sales and market needs.
8. Regularly reviews product specifications to ensure they are functionally and technically accurate.
9. Assists in developing strategies to adjust and promote various product lines, to increase the sales revenues and create demand for company’s medical equipments/ products and services.
11. Monitors and reports the sales trending market, medical equipment profitability and new line equipment product and services activities.
