NATURE OF WORK
To manage all payroll related activities including the monthly payroll processing, payroll entries i.e. new employees, salary adjustments, deductions, terminations, leaves and preparing payroll related reports. Job role also requires the ability to develop and maintain data gathering tools and databases, support the annual salary review and incentive payment process and ensure that company policies conform to the Kuwait labor law.
Job Accountabilities:
- Processing all activities related to payroll such as initial placement on payroll, adjustments, deductions, terminations, etc.
- Preparing payments, salary certificates, salary review letters, bonus payments, etc.
- Compiling and processing periodic payroll reports
- Creating new employee/ location/ organization data on payroll system
- Processing the monthly payroll and ensuring that calculations are accurate and in compliance with company policies and contractual provisions
- Managing and coordinating the final settlement process and ensuring the completion of all the related formalities i.e. exit interview, residence permit cancellation, leaver check list, requisitioning of repatriation plane ticket(s) in coordination with ER
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
- Strong expertise in Kuwait Labour law
- Defining and setting suitable salary schemes
- Experienced in working for large companies, preferably in an international setting
- Experience or fair understanding in other GCC Labour law and Market is a plus
Education
- University degree - HR Management or related field
- HR Related certifications in a plus
