Organizational Context:
The post is located in the Safety & Security Department. This department is responsible of providing security systems to Kuwait General Administration of Customs (KGAC) including CCTVs Surveillance Systems. CCTV operator will be responsible for operating CCTVs surveillance Systems in the Main Control Room (MCR). So the target candidate will be responsible for conducting the following roles & responsibilities.
Roles and responsibilities:
§ Monitor and operate the CCTV cameras and associated equipment in the MCR.
§ Report any incidents that occur immediately to the responsible personal in the MCR.
§ Assist the MCR responsible personal in respect of preparation of evidence and other activities associated with incidents on sites.
§ Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Service and MCR working practices.
§ Provide assistance in displaying and exhibiting the CCTV services to interested parties.
§ At all times the post holder must maintain and respect the security and sensitivity of the service.
§ Comply with the adopted Code of Practice and service operational procedures at all times.
§ Any other duties which are equal or similar to the responsibility level and the grade of the post.
§ Preparing reports.
§ Coordinating and reporting to the Safety & Security department in case of emergencies.
