The Chief Finance Officer (CFO) provides both operational and programmatic support to the organization. He/She supervises the finance unit and is the chief financial spokesperson for the organization. He/She reports directly to the CEO and collaborate with Business Development and Operations leadership on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost-benefit analysis, forecasting needs, securing of new funding and all business financial matters. The CFO must have the passion for high-performance delivery.
• Work with the CEO, Business Development and Operations leadership on the strategic planning including fostering and cultivating stakeholder relationships on a company-wide level as well as assisting in the development and negotiation of contracts.
• Proficient in managing and overseeing LC (letter of Credit) and LG (Letter of Guarantee) and other financial matters.
• Achieves financial objectives by anticipating requirements, submitting information for premises' budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, managing quality and cost control.
• Train the Finance Unit and other staff on raising awareness and knowledge of financial management matters.
• Ensure accurate, complete & timely financial and management reporting, including monthly management accounts, balance sheet control and other financial reports.
• Oversee the operations of all accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts receivable, Treasury, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Month-End accruals, and provisions, etc.
• Ensure adequate cash flow to meet the organization's needs and able to forecast trends.
• Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
• Oversee the company's transaction processing systems
• Conduct reviews and evaluation of cost reduction opportunities
• Liaising with auditors to ensure accurate annual monitoring
• Develop and maintain accounting manual that is up to date and enforces adherence to all policies and procedures.
• Directs the collation of data and preparation of Divisions Consolidated reports in order to ensure the provision of reliable inventory, cost control and financial data to support F&B Management's decision making.
• Perform other tasks as assigned
