With Gastronomica’s expansion into the GCC, we are now looking for an energetic, driven and passionate Social Media Coordinator to join our team in Kuwait. This is a great opportunity for you to grow and build your marketing skills. We are seeking a Social Media Coordinator to assist in the development and delivery of key content on social media.
Your responsibilities will include
- Follow company guidelines on social media posts;
- Assist in the development of innovative and creative media content across social media platforms;
- Collaborate with marketing, creative and operational teams to ensure a cohesive social media identity
- Assist in the development and execution of all social medial events and strategies
- Create and maintain relevant social media accounts
- Keep track of social media trends and competition
- Deliver monthly reports with statistics and results for each account
- Assist the operations teams with social medial campaigns with regards to new opening and new product launches another marketing events
Track all social media comments and direct any adverse comments to the relevant operational managers;
- Assist in activating and improving brand awareness amongst target customer segments;
- Manage effectively the social media accounts.
 
To be successful in this role you will have
- A background in restaurants and hospitality;
- Be proficient in written and spoken English and Arabic.
- Social and enjoy engaging with people and influencers;
- Passionate about writing and communication;
- Able to target content towards different audiences and stakeholders;
- Customer service skills;
- Be a team player and enjoy working collaboratively;
- Extensive knowledge of social media platforms;
- Web proficiency;
- Computer software proficiency;
- Proofreading and editing Skills;
- Ability to multitask and stay on task.
