you will be a hands-on leader of our production team who is responsible for producing (Food, bakery, catering, Frozen, semi-finished items, Dough, Bread, Fatayer, Gravy, Marinating and Cut Meat & Poultry, etc.) that is delivered daily to our confectionary and restaurants.
This includes mentoring and coaching associates while ensuring food safety, GMP’s, ISO, HACCP and process controls are being followed while meeting quality standards.
3 - 5+ years of hands on Pastry and Bakery Field, management experience within a food production environment, preferably within the baking and restaurants or related industry
Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor hourly production associates
Good working knowledge of bakery production equipment such as mixers, dividers, rounder’s, proofers, etc.
Working knowledge of process controls and industry standards such as food safety and hazards, HACCP, ISO.
Past experience training associates in safe work practices and following GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices)
Knowledge of food sanitation processes, procedures, and standards such as Steritech/ServSafe
Supervises employees by delegating, assigning and prioritizing activities, and monitoring operating standards.
Direct, Coordinate and manage order fulfilment, processing, development and production requirements and resolve problems within span of control to the standards set by the company
Resolve employee grievances and concerns and partner with HR on high level investigations
Identify and train talent for the department including coaching, training and develop matrixes and standards of continued excellence
Complies with budget requirements by controlling costs (i.e. labour, inventory, equipment, materials) and making adjustments when necessary
Guide, Direct and Motivate staff around performance management and labour planning
Responsible for inventory management and procurement of food and supplies at an account/unit to ensure client satisfaction and retention for the Company.
Manages food production through kitchen staff in a large facility.
Contributes to account revenue and operating profit contribution through cost containment and safety.
Utilizes company resources, recipes, systems and programs to direct daily operations including; food production, inventory, product deliveries, invoices, and procurement operations.
Ensures employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources to perform their job, and meet goals, cost controls and deadlines as assigned.
Establishes and maintains a safe work environment including both food and physical safety in order to comply with all regulatory and Caesars standards
Food production planning and on-line ordering
Willingness and ability to resolve problems and jump right in to help
